Aggieland Panthers playing in the Houston Christian Tournament December 5-7

John's team the Aggieland Panthers will be playing in the Houston Christian School Tournament against some very good teams  in Texas (St Pius X 11am and St Johns 5pm) on December 5th and Texas Christian Addison 8am on December 6th.

John hit 4 3's and went 4 for 4 on the free throw line to score a total of 31 points to help the team win over College Station High School summer league team 68-62.

John was named Season All-American for Home School Basketball in 2013, This is a national honor for the top homeschool basketball players in the nation.  John was among the 27 players that were selected by the Varsity boys head coaches from around the country for this award.

John Hale and Ron Weeks Sets North American Record

John and Ron competed in a North American Birding Classic Green Division.  The two rode bicycles
71 miles along the coast of Texas to see how many different species of Birds they could see in 24 hours.  Each person must see each bird and confirm the observation.  The pair tied a green division (man power) North American record of seeing 181 different species of birds in one day.

John Named Season All American for 2012-2013 Season

During the National Christian Home School Basketball Championship's John was named an All American for the 2012-2013 season.  This is a national honor for the top homeschool basketball players in the nation.  John was among the 27 players that were selected by the Varsity boys head coaches from around the country for this award.

John scored 1076 points for the season averaging 22.5 points per game.  During the National Tournament John averaged 26 points per game over the six games in the tournaments.

John Goes over 1000 points for the 2012-2013 Season

Tonight in the 3rd game of the National Tournament and his 45th game of the season John passed the 1000 point mark.

John was selected by the home school coaches All State and has been selected on the All American Watch List which consists of 30 of the best players in the Nation from which the All Americans will be selected.

State Championship Tournament John averages 22.3 points per game

John averaged 22.3 points over the four games the Mustangs competed in at the State Homeschool Championship Tournament in Frisco Texas including 28 points in the final game to help the mustangs finish 10th in the state among Homeschool teams in Texas. Next Nationals March 18th in Springfield Mo.

The Mustangs ended up winning the game in overtime over the CHSA team out of Houston. John averaged 22 points over the four games in the Space Jam City Basketball Tournament last weekend.

John played excellent defense while scoring 24 points, with 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals. John went 8 for 8 from the free throw line, scoring four of those free throws in the last seconds to help lead the Mustangs to a victory 54 to 49 over Allen Academy.
