John Hale is in his second year at Jacksonville, College. John has a 4.0 at Jacksonville and is on the Presidents Honor Roll and will graduate with his associate degree in May. He was red shirted last year and is playing this year. John wants to study Civil Engineering. In High School John was named Season All-American for Home School Basketball in 2013. John was among the 27 players that were selected by the Varsity boys head coaches from around the country for this award.

John's Academics
John is homeschooled. He will be a junior this fall. He has completed the first two years of high school with a 4.0. Most notably, John has published a scientific research journal article in the Texas Ornithological Society biannual journal.

2012 Summer
John played for the BVCHEA Mustangs in the Brazos Christian School Summer League. He averaged 21 points over the summer season and help the team win the regular season and end of season tournaments. They went undefeated.
Also John average 23 points in the College Station Summer Lincoln Recreation Center League. With his 16U team winning the championship.
John averaged 13 points with his 16U Hoopstars AAU Basketball team over four tournaments this summer.
2011-2012 High School Varsity Season

John Hale plays on the Varsity Team of the BVCHEA Mustangs a homeschool program in Bryan/College Station. The team has gon 50 wins and 15 losses since he joined the team.
Sophomore season - 17.7 points per game for season over 38 games last season, (In the 26-28 games that complete stats were taken in each area 42%, 3pt shooting, 73% Freethrow, 4.0 rebounds per game, 3.6 steals and deflections per game. 1.8 blocked shots, 3.1 assists per game.
